20.07.2010 Ministry of internal affairs holds preventive action “Employment” from July 19 to July 23, 2010
The main task of the action is to prevent minor offences during summer holiday and to engage children and teenagers from problem families in different activities.89 sales outlets which sold alcohol drinks to minors, 107 facts of selling tobacco to minors were detected. As results of holding action by bodies of Internal Affairs together with interested departments crime among minors are 11,9 % down (from 2252 to 1984).

19.07.2010 Meeting of MIA Board was held under the chairmanship of Minister of Internal Affairs Serik Baimaganbetov
Results of the activity for the first six months of the current year and determined main tasks of bodies of Internal Affairs for coming period were discussed in the meeting. The Head of departments paid attention on necessity of strengthening of offences prevention, rising efficiency of fighting against robberies and burglaries, detection of grave crimes, toughening of fighting with organized crimes and drug businesses, migratory control, personnel discipline.
